The voice of the dairy processing industry in Alberta
A registered non-profit society, the Alberta Dairy Council is the dairy processing industry's principal liaison with provincial milk producer organizations and regulatory agencies, government, national dairy organizations and other stakeholders.
Our member companies process 99% of the milk produced in the Province of Alberta. We manufacture and market all types of finished dairy products from the milk you serve at your breakfast table to the artisan cheese you enjoy at your favourite restaurant and the butter and cream used to make the pastries at your local patisserie. Our members' facilities range from small, on-farm operations to large, state-of-the-art factories and distribution centres.
